Cleaner
Description of Role:
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team. Helping to ensure the school site is maintained to an excellent standard and to provide a professional impression to all visitors, parents, students and employees.

Salary Scale: 1
Hourly rate: £9.00
Daily hours: Monday – Friday 3.00 – 6.00pm
Weekly hours: 15 + 1.05 deep clean hours = 16.05
Term time only + 45 hours deep clean during school holidays(38 working weeks, 4 weeks annual leave, 1.6 bank holidays = 43.6 paid weeks)

Actual salary: £6,298

IT Technician

IT Technician
Description of Role:
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our team supporting the school’s large and growing IT provision. If you are looking to contribute within a highly professional, supportive and comprehensive environment to help us to enable all our students to reach their full potential, then we would like to hear from you.

Time will be spent between technical support (working with both students and staff), maintenance and development of the school network systems. The school has a dedicated IT workshop where the successful candidate will be based, but it is anticipated that they will spend a large majority of time working in different locations across the whole site. The IT team is responsible for all IT, AV and Telecoms across the school so there is potential to develop skills in areas that might be new to the successful candidate as well as variation in day to day work.

Poole High School is an 11-19 comprehensive school serving families throughout the historic town of Poole. As the largest school in this selective catchment, we pride ourselves on the fact that all students thrive in this caring and collaborative environment. Our students are well motivated and co-operative, and the team spirit in this large school is second to none. In 2019, Poole high School anticipate a Progress 8 score of +0.40 putting us well ‘above average’ for progress nationally.

Working pattern: 9.00am – 5.00pm (40 minute unpaid break)
4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (holiday must be taken outside of school holidays)
