Headspace is offering some meditations called ‘Weathering the storm’. It includes meditations, sleep, and movement exercises to help you out, however you’re feeling.
Kooth an online mental wellbeing community. It is a safe and confidential space to share experiences and gain support from our community and qualified professionals. There are magazines, discussion boards, professiona support and personal tools to help you.
Up in BCP can help you with anything that is holding you back or provide you with support. They support you with making positive life changes, helping you to identify realistic choices and move towards lasting results.

Childline is yours (anyone under 19) – a free, private and confidential service where you can talk about any issue you’re going through.
You can talk about anything. Whether it’s something big or small, our trained counsellors are here to support you.
Calling Childline is free and doesn’t show up on the phone bill.
Their counsellors are trained staff and volunteers. All sorts of people become Childline counsellors. They’re all different ages and come from lots of different backgrounds. But what they all have in common is that they want to help young people.
A Childline counsellor:
- will listen to you and is genuine, open and friendly
- knows it takes courage to contact us and isn’t easily shocked
- knows about the problems young people can face
- will let you take your time and won’t judge you or put you down.

It only takes one message to start making a difference. You’ll get confidential advice from trained health staff in your area.
How it works
We’ll confirm receipt of your message immediately then you’ll speak to a health professional who will listen, ask questions and support you. You only have to share what you feel comfortable with and you can ask questions too.
Most teams reply during normal office hours. If you message out-of-hours they’ll reply when they’re next in. You should always hear back from someone within 24 working hours at most.
If you need help in the meantime contact your doctor, visit a NHS walk-in centre or call NHS 111. If it is an emergency, dial 999 or visit A&E.
Your network provide will charge your usual rate for messages you send.
